LAP 4 Local Area Response Group
Aimed to inform, involve and empower local residents to be interactive and influence the way in which services are planned and delivered though Tower Hamlets Partnership, our focus was Local Area Partnership 4.

Community Hub
Community Access point for information , advice and guidance for economically inactive local residents, progressing them on to further/education training and/or employment, intensive capacity building work with Somali Projects in Tower Hamlets. Project funded through NRF.

E2E Pilot 'Mix n Match'
Entry to Employment delivered through an innovative training programme devised to provide ‘mix n match’ taster courses for young people, affording them the opportunity to taste multi-media, music technology, film & video production, Information Communication Technology, Drop-In-And-Learn (DIAL), First Aid, Food Hygiene. Location LBTH - LSCLE – 2003-2004 |

Includes; project development strategy, staff management, monitoring performance, target setting, project implementation plan and evaluation. Projects managed are: Sure Start Event 2002 and 2003, Women’s International Day Event 2001, Health & Well Being programme for women, mother & pensioners groups SRB 5- 2001-02, Community Outreach Development programme – Tower of London – Renaisi 2003, Open doors Personal Development & employability programme ETHA –2002, Sure Start –Parenting Skills

New Adult Learning
A number of programmes run in partnership with Tower Hamlets College at various centre’s across Tower Hamlets in order to enable community groups/centre’s to make learning available to their client groups in consultation with centre leaders on their specified training needs.

Street Project
Peer education training and individual empowerment programme for young disengaged people involved in local gangs, street crime, and youth disorder, project aimed at reducing crime & conflict through localised training initiatives & outreaching to local estates. The project worked with 108 young people in the south of the borough, initiative funded by SRB 5 Connecting Communities – Mar/2001 (LBTH) |

Mapping Exercise
Research study commissioned by Tower Hamlets Partnership for Local Area Partnership 1 & 2 to map services and provision, compiled a directory of key voluntary, statutory & public service agencies.

Life Skills
Designed & managed a fun, innovative 16 week learning programme at a pre-entry level for disengaged 16-19 year olds not in education, employment or training (NEET group). In partnership with Futures Careers & Connexions, Newham sixth Form College

A unique, innovative programme delivering a series of fun learning events across Tower Hamlets engaging non-learners to participate in taster sessions progressing on to further training and education activities – Success celebrated by LELSC
