Client Progression

Since the outset of the project, many of the clients have achieved their goals – gaining literacy and numeracy qualifications both in level 1 and 2. Commissioning

A rare opportunity but a very useful concept, affording smaller groups in the community to become engaged and be part of the on-going process of neighbourhood renewal.

We focussed our efforts on one of the hardest-to-engage groups in Tower Hamlets – the Somali Community, we worked with five groups, carrying out capacity building, one-to-one sessions, commissioning projects, holding regular engagement meetings, devising forward plans which helped to bring about the newly formed Tower Hamlets Somali Network.

We offered support with office equipment, funding small projects, information, advice and guidance on funding streams, beneficiary referrals, and commissioned a small mapping exercise to identify needs within the Somali community.
